• The Site is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older who are residents of Canada.
• You may not use the Site where doing so would violate applicable laws or regulations.
• Using the Site confirms that you meet these requirements and that any information you submit is truthful and complete.

3) Privacy

Your use of the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use and share information, and your choices. We are not a bank or lender; if we refer your application to partners, their privacy practices and terms apply to their dealings with you.

4) No Advice & No Guarantees

• The Site provides general information and an application/referral process only. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice.
• We do not guarantee approval, specific terms, interest rates, or outcomes. Any financing decision is made by third‑party partners under their own policies.

5) Your Account & Communications

• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your contact details current.
• By submitting a phone number or email, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your inquiry (e.g., OTP verification, status updates). Marketing communications are sent only with your consent; you may opt out at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Message/data rates may apply to SMS; frequency varies. Reply STOP to end and HELP for help.

6) Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct

You may use the Site only for lawful, personal, non‑commercial purposes related to evaluating or submitting an application. You agree not to:

• access, scrape, crawl, index, harvest, or collect Site data through automated means (including bots or spiders) without our prior written permission;
• bypass or interfere with security, rate limits, or access controls; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Site or its software;
• submit false, misleading, or incomplete information, or impersonate any person or entity;
• upload or transmit malware, exploits, or other harmful code, or otherwise disrupt the Site;
• use the Site for competitive analysis or to build a competing product or service; or
• use the Site in any manner that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, or that violates any law.

7) Intellectual Property & Feedback

• All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, and layout) is owned by or licensed to MyAutoLoan.ca and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Site for its intended purpose.
• Trademarks, service marks, and trade dress appearing on the Site are the property of their respective owners. No right or license is granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.
• If you choose to provide ideas, feedback, or suggestions, you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use and exploit that feedback without restriction or compensation.

8) Third‑Party Content, Links & Partners

The Site may reference third‑party websites, tools, or offers. We are not responsible for third‑party content, policies, or practices. If we introduce you to a dealership or finance partner, any products or services they provide are governed by their terms and privacy policies. We do not endorse or control third‑party sites and are not liable for your use of them.

9) Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free, or that information will be accurate, complete, or current.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will MyAutoLoan.ca or its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage, or system failure, arising out of or in connection with the Site or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of CAD $100 or the amounts (if any) you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some provinces do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in those cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyAutoLoan.ca and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any laws or third‑party rights.

12) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time and for any reason, including for suspected violations of these Terms, without liability to you. Upon termination, your right to use the Site will cease immediately, and any provisions that by their nature should survive will survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law).

13) Changes to Site & Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above shows when they were most recently revised. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make you aware of them (for example, by posting an updated notice on this page). Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14) Governing Law & Disputes

• These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles.
• You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta, and waive any objection to venue or inconvenient forum, except where applicable law (including consumer laws in your province) provides otherwise and cannot be waived.
• Class Actions: To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

Note: Some provinces (including Quebec) provide non‑waivable consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

15) General

• Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
• Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings on the subject matter.
• Headings: Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
