1) Who we are
MyAutoLoan.ca (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) operates a Canadian auto-financing lead platform. We collect your application and, with your consent, share it with appropriate dealership and finance partners who may help arrange vehicle financing or refinancing. We are not a bank or lender.
Scope: this policy applies to our website, forms, communications, and related services offered in Canada.
2) What we collect
Information you provide
- Contact & identity (e.g., name, phone, email, current address, province/territory, age confirmation 18+).
- Application details (e.g., employment status, time on job, income, housing situation, estimated monthly budget, residency details, vehicle preferences, down payment intentions).
- Trade-in details when you choose to provide them (e.g., basic vehicle information and condition, mileage, VIN, photos).
- Refinance details if you apply for refinancing (e.g., information about your current auto loan that you choose to provide).
- Communications with us (e.g., email, SMS/OTP confirmations, support interactions, marketing preferences).
We do not request your online banking credentials or account numbers.

We and our service providers may collect limited device and usage information (e.g., browser, pages viewed, approximate location, and interactions) using cookies or similar technologies to operate the site, prevent fraud, and improve performance.

We do not pull your credit report. If your application is referred to a dealership or finance partner, they may conduct a soft credit inquiry or otherwise assess creditworthiness in accordance with their own policies and with your consent.
5) When we share information
We may disclose personal information in the following situations:
- With dealership and finance partners who help review your application and may contact you about financing or refinancing options.
- With service providers that support our operations (for example, customer communications, security and fraud prevention, website functionality, analytics, or advertising on our behalf). These providers are bound by confidentiality and only use information to perform services for us.
- For legal and safety reasons (e.g., to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, security, and prevent fraud).
- Business transactions (e.g., merger, acquisition, or asset sale) where information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information as a standalone product.
